Job summary

NSW Environment Protection Authority in Newcastle is seeking two Manager Field Operations to lead day-to-day field delivery, align with EPA objectives, and drive performance across teams.

You will oversee Industry Assessments/Planning, Licensing & Permitting, and Operational Coordination, ensuring regulatory presence and stakeholder collaboration while managing staff and maintaining focus on environmental outcomes.

Qualifications

• Sound understanding of policies, practices and legislative requirements governing EPA operations.
• Knowledge/experience in one or more environment protection areas (air, water, noise, waste, chemicals, hazardous materials, radiation).
• Knowledge and experience applying current environmental legislation; ability to interpret legislation.
• Solid understanding of state and local government.
• Experience liaising with client/stakeholder groups for sustainable outcomes.
• Experience in managing staff and setting priorities.
• Current C Class Australian Drivers Licence.
