Job summary

GPS Electrical Services in Victoria seeks a Field Operations Manager to lead the safe, compliant, high-quality and efficient delivery of electrical projects across the region. This newly created role will oversee field operations and construction delivery, working closely with Project Managers to determine resources, methods and workforce structure for optimal project performance.

You will build and lead a large team of Site Supervisors, Electricians and trades, ensuring the right people,

Qualifications

Current A Grade Electrical License.
Experience leading large field teams on industrial projects.
Strong planning, resourcing and safety leadership on site.

Responsibilities

Allocate labour across Victorian projects with appropriate mix of crew and labour hire.
Ensure projects are resourced to meet programme and budget.
Monitor workforce supply vs. demand and manage priorities.
Build and lead a team of Site Supervisors.
Set clear expectations and hold supervisors accountable daily.
Ensure works progress aligns with schedules and recover delays as needed.
Address major site issues with timely, practical solutions.
Monitor labour hours, productivity and budget performance.
Ensure installations meet drawings, specs, AS/NZS 3000 and quality requirements.
Collaborate with Project Managers on programme, variations and risks.
Promote a visible safety culture on every site.
