Job summary

Australian Training Company – Canberra ACT is seeking a Field Officer to connect young people with employers, training and career opportunities in the Canberra region. You will engage with schools, students and industry, promote Australian Apprenticeships and support apprentices throughout their journey.

Responsibilities

• Identify and secure apprenticeship and traineeship opportunities with employers.
• Develop and maintain relationships with host employers.
• Promote VET and Australian Apprenticeship pathways in schools and with students/parents.
• Recruit and coordinate participants for pre-employment and employment programs.
• Mentor apprentices/trainees and support their training journey.
• Collaborate with RTOs, schools, employers and Government agencies.
