Job summary

Hy-Tec, a leading supplier of premixed concrete, aggregates and sands, invites applications for a Field Tester in its Chipping Norton lab. You will perform soil and aggregate testing, assist in trial mixing, prepare samples and calibrate equipment, gaining exposure to compliance testing and national accreditation processes.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and a proactive work ethic within a fast-paced environment at a national company, with opportunities to develop skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

• Entry level candidates encouraged to apply; training provided.
• Experience in construction materials testing is preferred but not essential.
• Commitment to safety, quality and environment.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to follow testing standards and supervisor instructions.

Responsibilities

• Laboratory testing of concrete, aggregates and related construction materials (training provided).
• Reporting of accurate results.
• Adhering to procedures and work systems.
• Perform equipment calibration and basic maintenance as required.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health and environmental requirements.
• Assist NSW technical/lab team with ISO/IEC 17025 NATA accreditation.
