Job summary

Statewide Oil Distributors seeks a technically minded professional to represent Mobil and deliver lubrication and reliability solutions across Victoria, with preference for Melbourne. You will combine engineering expertise with proactive customer engagement to solve operational challenges for energy, manufacturing, processing, forestry, transport, construction, agriculture and mining sectors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' technical experience in engineering or related field.
• Background in Engineering or Science, or mechanical trade qualifications.
• Experience with lubricants is advantageous.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Hands-on troubleshooting and practical problem solving.
• Ability to engage customers and build relationships.
• Collaborative team player with goal-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical support programs and provide expert product application advice.
• Document results of technical programs with proof of performance and savings.
• Identify and secure product upgrade opportunities for customers.
• Resolve technical problems regarding products and equipment performance.
