Job summary

Sigtech Solutions Australia – Newcastle NSW is seeking an experienced HSEQ Business Partner to support our national operations across Australia's rail, civil and infrastructure sectors. This field-based role focuses on visible, practical safety leadership rather than ticking boxes.

You will partner with project teams, conduct site inspections, investigations and drive continuous improvement of our Integrated Management System while coaching teams to strengthen safety culture.

Qualifications

• HSEQ experience in rail, civil construction or infrastructure environments.
• Strong understanding of WHS, environmental and quality systems.
• Ability to have difficult conversations when needed.
• Diploma in Safety and rail industry experience are mandatory.
• Current driver's licence and willingness to travel nationally.

Responsibilities

• Partner with project teams, contractors and leaders on live rail, civil and infrastructure projects.
• Conduct site inspections, audits and assurance activities.
• Support risk assessments, SWMS, incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Drive continual improvement of the Integrated Management System (ISO 45001/14001/9001).
• Coach and influence teams to build a stronger safety culture.
