Job summary

Service Stream is looking for an HSE Business Partner to drive a strong safety culture across our telecommunications operations in Queensland. The role is predominantly field-based, partnering with operational leaders, field crews and subcontractors to influence safe work outcomes and improve risk management.

You will lead practical HSE advice, investigations and continuous improvement initiatives, while maintaining a strong field presence and supporting audits and standards implementations

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in an HSE role.
• Certificate IV in WHS or equivalent.
• Experience conducting inspections, audits and incident investigations.
• ICAM Lead Investigator training is preferred.
• Current Australian driver's license and Construction White Card.

Responsibilities

• Partner with operational leaders, field teams and subcontractors to provide practical HSE advice, coaching and support.
• Maintain a strong field presence, conducting safety interactions, inspections and critical control verifications.
• Support incident investigations, identify contributing factors and drive meaningful improvements.
• Participate in audits, assurance activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Analyse safety performance and emerging trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support the implementation of HSE systems, standards and initiatives across telecommunications operations.
• Champion a positive learning culture in safety by encouraging open reporting, meaningful conversations and continuous improvement.
