Job summary

Service Stream is seeking an experienced HSE Business Partner to join our Telecommunications HSE team in Queensland (Banyo, Fortitude Valley). This predominantly field-based role works with operational leaders, field crews and subcontractors to influence safety behaviours and strengthen risk management.

You'll join a national HSE team that values initiative, professional development and a healthy work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in an HSE role.
• Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety or equivalent.
• Experience conducting workplace inspections, audits and incident investigations.
• Incident investigation training, preferably ICAM Lead Investigator.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and report writing skills.
• Current Australian driver’s licence and Construction White Card.

Responsibilities

• Partner with operational leaders, field teams and subcontractors to provide practical HSE advice, coaching and support.
• Maintain a strong field presence, conducting safety interactions, inspections and critical control verifications.
• Support incident investigations, identify contributing factors and drive meaningful improvements.
• Participate in audits, assurance activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Analyse safety performance and emerging trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support the implementation of HSE systems, standards and initiatives across telecommunications operations.
• Champion a positive learning culture in safety by encouraging open reporting, meaningful conversations and continuous improvement.
