Job summary

Service Stream Fixed Communications in Queensland is seeking an experienced HSE Business Partner to lead safety across telecommunications operations, fostering a learning culture and practical risk controls. This predominantly field-based role partners with operational leaders, field crews and subcontractors to influence safe work practices, investigations and continuous improvement.

You will bring at least 2 years in HSE, a Certificate IV WHS, and Driver's licence; ICAM Lead Investigator

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in an HSE role.
• Certificate IV in WHS or equivalent.
• Experience conducting inspections, audits and investigations.
• ICAM Lead Investigator training preferred.
• Strong communication, problem solving and report writing skills.
• Current Australian driver’s licence and Construction White Card.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical HSE advice and coaching to leaders and crews.
• Maintain a strong field presence with inspections and verifications.
• Support incident investigations and drive improvements.
• Participate in audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Analyze safety performance and emerging trends.
• Support HSE systems implementation across telecommunications operations.
• Champion open reporting and a learning culture.
