Job summary

Alliance Geotechnical in Sydney seeks a junior Geotechnical Engineer to join our Construction Phase Services team. This on-site role offers hands-on exposure as projects move from design into construction, with 4-5 days per week on site and mentoring from senior engineers and environmental specialists.

You will gain experience in field testing, inspections, and reporting while developing practical solutions for foundations, earthworks, slopes and pavements.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering or related discipline.
• 1–2 years' experience in geotechnical field investigations and report writing.

Responsibilities

• Carry out construction phase geotechnical inspections on civil, infrastructure and building projects.
• Prepare inspection reports and technical correspondence with clients and project teams.
• Coordinate fieldwork and manage multiple inspections with guidance from senior engineers.
