Job summary

FMS Group is seeking an experienced Fitter to join our team across multiple sites in Queensland. You will perform PM maintenance and breakdown work on heavy mining equipment, with roving and shutdown duties on offer.

These roles are four days per week, allowing you to be home most weekends. We value safety, teamwork and clear communication, with opportunities for career growth and competitive benefits within a growing national company.

Qualifications

• Experience working on heavy machinery
• Coal Board Medical
• Standard 11 Statement of Attainment
• Problem solving and decision-making skills
• Great communication and interpersonal skills
• Have the proven ability to liaise with both management and clients
• Uncompromising attitude to safety
• Ability to meet site requirements

Responsibilities

• Perform PM maintenance and breakdown work across multiple sites
• Roaming across various sites including shutdowns
• Liaise with management and clients to ensure site requirements are met
• Maintain high safety standards across all sites
