Job summary

MFE, part of Global Group, seeks an experienced Projects Superintendent to lead mechanical maintenance across our Queensland operations. This field-focused role involves 60% time on site, directing trades and supervision teams to deliver maintenance safely and efficiently.

You will own planning, priority setting and client liaison while driving quality, cost control and timely execution across planned, reactive and shutdown works.

Qualifications

• Trade background in mechanical fitting, fabrication or piping.
• Strong mechanical maintenance experience within oil & gas, resources or heavy industry.
• Superintendent or strong Senior Supervisor-level experience.
• Experience leading maintenance teams in operational environments.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving capability.
• Hands-on, field-focused leadership style.
• Strong client and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Leading mechanical maintenance activities and field teams
• Planning and coordinating labour, resources and maintenance priorities
• Providing hands-on technical support and troubleshooting
• Managing costs, schedules and operational requirements
