SGS Australia is seeking a Field Data Engineer (DAQ Engineer) to join our team on a full-time FIFO basis, working a 28:28 roster from Moomba, SA. This hands-on role supports Well Test operations by setting up, operating and maintaining data acquisition systems and delivering accurate data to Supervisors and clients.
You will troubleshoot equipment issues, plan equipment readiness, interpret P&IDs and ensure safe, compliant field operations.

This is a hands‑on field‑based role supporting well testing operations through accurate data acquisition, equipment readiness and real‑time technical support to Well Test Supervisors and clients.
You will play a key role in setting up, operating and maintaining data acquisition systems, ensuring reliable information is captured and reported safely, accurately and in line with SGS standards. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys field work, problem solving, technical equipment, and contributing to safe and efficient oil and gas operations.
This is a full-time FIFO position based in Moomba, SA, working a 28:28 roster.
