Job summary

GitLab is seeking a Field CTO at the Principal Solutions Architect level, based in Australia or Singapore, reporting to the Global Head, Field CTOs. This team supports large, strategic engagements requiring high-level planning in DevSecOps transformations.

Field Solutions Architects act as trusted advisors during presales, demonstrating how GitLab and Services address business requirements with technical leadership and collaboration across product teams.

Qualifications

• CTO/ Principal Solutions Architect with enterprise software architecture expertise.
• Experience delivering information/cyber security and compliance solutions.
• Strong communication skills from executive to staff engineer levels.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain executive relationships enabling large Net ARR deals.
• Provide thought leadership on strategic opportunities (new logos/growth).
• Curate field feedback and influence product roadmaps and prioritization.
• Scale regional field expertise through enablement content.
• Advocate for DevSecOps transformation initiatives with prospects/customers.
• Develop SME knowledge in GitLab-targeted sectors via industry groups.
• Stay current on GitLab-relevant methodologies to drive strategy.
