Job summary

Brightstar Resources in Western Australia is seeking a motivated Field Assistant to join our Exploration team. You will support drilling, sampling and field operations across our WA projects on a 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off FIFO roster, working closely with geologists.

This role suits outdoorsy team players who are safety-focused and able to work independently in remote environments, with options to develop a career in mining and exploration.

Qualifications

• Experience in field-based exploration, mining or drilling support.
• Safety-focused with ability to follow procedures.
• Willingness to work in remote environments.
• Good organisation and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Physical fitness for manual field tasks in varying weather.
• Current C-Class Driver's Licence (Manual licence highly regarded).
• Forklift Licence is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Conduct RC and Aircore drillhole sampling following QA/QC procedures.
• Prepare, organise and dispatch samples to external assay laboratories.
• Assist with diamond core processing including orientation, mark-up, cutting and sampling.
• Prepare drill sites including drill hole mark-outs and coordination of earthworks.
• Support environmental rehabilitation programs and supervisor contractors.
• Maintain health, safety and environmental standards and participate in safety meetings.
• Assist geologists with field logistics, equipment management and exploration activities.
• Accurately record and maintain exploration data and field records.

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic FieldAssistant to join our Exploration team and supportdrilling, sampling and field operations across our explorationprojects in Western Australia. Key Responsibilities

• The ability to work effectively both independently and aspart of a team.
• Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual fieldtasks in varying weather conditions.
• A current C-Class Driver's Licence (Manual licence highlyregarded).
