Job summary

Lionel Moore Trailers is expanding with a new Fibre-glassing Division and seeks an experienced Fibreglasser / Supervisor to establish, develop and lead the operation from the ground up.

You will manage daily production, ensure quality standards, and gradually grow into a leadership role within the company. The role involves hands-on fibreglassing work with growth opportunities and competitive remuneration.

Qualifications

• Solid hands-on experience in fibre glassing / composite manufacturing.
• Ability to supervise and lead a team.
• Prides in quality workmanship with attention to detail.
• Capable of working independently and owning daily activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform fibreglass laminating, moulding, fabrication, trimming and finishing.
• Supervise and coordinate fibreglassing personnel as the division grows.
• Plan and organise daily production activities.
• Establish safe and efficient work practices.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality control.
• Read drawings, plans and specifications.
• Measure, cut and prepare fibreglass materials.
• Work with resins, gelcoats, catalysts and related materials.
• Rectify defects and carry out repairs.
• Monitor production schedules and deadlines.
• Attend 1–2 weeks handover/training near the Gold Coast.

We are a growing company establishing a new Fibreglassing Division and are looking for an experienced and motivated Fibreglasser / Supervisor to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Fibreglasser who wants more than just a job. You will have the opportunity to help establish, develop and lead our new fibre glassing operation from the ground up. We are looking for someone with strong practical fibre glassing skills who can take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the division and grow into a key leadership role within the company.

About the role

Working closely with management, you will help establish efficient fibre glassing processes, maintain high-quality standards and supervise the day-to-day activities of the division. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Fibreglasser who wants to help establish, develop and lead the new fibre glassing operation from the ground up.

Key responsibilities
