Job summary

Uniti Group is seeking a proactive Network AutoCAD Designer to join our Opticomm Design Team in Australia. You will design fibre networks for Broadacre, ICN and MDUs using AutoCAD and DAD, and contribute to design guidelines development.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of AutoCAD experience, strong MS Office skills, and a collaborative mindset to work with contractors and project managers in a fast-paced telecommunications environment.

Responsibilities

• Design fibre networks in AutoCAD and DAD with detailed splicing layouts.
• Create and maintain design documentation for pit, pipe and fibre standards with QA checks.
• Review and improve design standards for flexibility, performance and cost.
• Design networks for MDUs and create pit/pipe layouts in AutoCAD.
• Generate Bills of Materials for Broadacre projects and MDUs.
• Provide regular design progress updates and maintain project records.
• Ensure compliance with document control procedures with PMs.
• Address customer issues in DAD and Telco portals with accurate records.
• Collaborate with contractors to ensure design plans are implemented.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of design guidelines and processes.
