Job summary

Bupa in Australia seeks a FHIR SME to translate clinical and business needs into standardised FHIR-based data solutions and ensure scalable interoperability across the enterprise. You will lead data modelling, mapping and API design for EHRs, Healthcare Platform and partners, while mentoring teams to raise organisational capability in interoperability practices.

The role requires deep knowledge of FHIR, HL7 and CDA, strong stakeholder management, and experience in Agile delivery to drive

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards (FHIR/HL7/CDA) and API data exchange.
Experience as FHIR lead across multiple teams.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
Analytical with business viability and technical feasibility.
Experience in an Agile delivery environment.
Experience working across multiple streams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Provide deep expertise in FHIR standards and data models for scalable data exchange.
Translate clinical and business requirements into FHIR-based solutions.
Ensure FHIR implementations conform to standards and profiles.
Support design and delivery of FHIR-based integrations and APIs.
Provide clinical and data context to engineering teams.
Lead or contribute to data modelling and transformation into FHIR resources.
Support validation and assurance of FHIR implementations.
Build internal capability through knowledge sharing and mentoring.
