Job summary

Akkodis is seeking a Senior Developer / Architect to join a national health program in Australia, focusing on HL7 FHIR standards and interoperability for healthcare data exchange. You will design, develop and maintain HL7 FHIR implementation guides, profiles and artefacts, collaborating with health and tech specialists across distributed teams.

The role offers a 12-month contract with hybrid/remote work, with opportunities to influence standards adoption and modernise healthcare information

Qualifications

HL7 FHIR project experience is essential.
Strong healthcare interoperability experience.
Experience delivering HL7 FHIR implementations and guides.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain and enhance HL7 FHIR implementation guides and specifications.
Review, edit and build FHIR profiles, resources and implementation artefacts.
Design and support interoperability and integration solutions.
Collaborate with healthcare, technical and business stakeholders to define standards and requirements.
Contribute to solution architecture and technical design activities.
Develop and maintain technical documentation and implementation guidance materials.
Support standards-based API and data exchange initiatives.
Participate in workshops, stakeholder consultations and architecture discussions.
Ensure solutions align with interoperability standards and best practices.
