Job summary

City of Port Phillip is seeking an experienced event professional to join the St Kilda Festival team to assist with delivering the 2027 festival. You will manage accreditation access, parking, and act as the main contact for residents, businesses and traders to ensure access to the festival precinct throughout the weekend.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in major event access, accreditation and ticketing, particularly in a government environment.
• Strong communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and the public on all levels.
• Ability to prioritise and effectively manage time (and staff) particularly in times of high stress.
• High level of written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to communicate policies and procedures to production staff under supervision including Occupational Health and Safety policies, procedures and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Manage accreditation access and parking for all festival participants, staff, performers, event participants, contractors, sponsors, suppliers and traders.
• Issue parking permits where required for residents and businesses within the impacted festival precincts.
• Manage and coordinate accreditation checks and access control in conjunction with festival security suppliers.
• Supervise any coordinator roles that are engaged within the Accreditation and event registration department.
