Job summary

City of Port Phillip is seeking an experienced event professional to join the St Kilda Festival team to assist with delivering the 2027 festival. You will manage accreditation access, parking, and act as the main contact for residents, businesses and traders to ensure access to the festival precinct throughout the weekend.

The role requires expertise in major event access and accreditation, excellent communication, and the ability to manage staff under pressure, with a focus on OH&S policies and

Qualifications

  • Professional experience in major event access, accreditation and ticketing, particularly in a government environment.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and the public on all levels.
  • Ability to prioritise and effectively manage time (and staff) particularly in times of high stress.
  • High level of written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate policies and procedures to production staff under supervision including Occupational Health and Safety policies, procedures and techniques.

Salary Range Band 6 $102,620 – 111,855 plus 12% Super
Full time 4-month temporary position through to 26 February 2027
Located at St Kilda Town Hall or with flexible working arrangements possible.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced event professional to join the St Kilda Festival team to assist with the delivery of the 2027 St Kilda Festival.

This role is accountable for managing all accreditation access and parking for all festival participants, staff performers, contractors, suppliers, sponsors and traders. You will operate as the main contact for local residents, businesses and traders to ensure they have access to the festival precinct throughout the festival weekend.
