Job summary

Genea Canberra is expanding and is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Canberra clinic on a full or part time basis. Nurses provide frontline care to patients during fertility treatment, working in an office environment and interacting with patients face to face and over the phone.

In addition to clinical duties, a large portion of the role involves patient care, support and education, with collaboration from doctors and scientists to tailor treatment plans and ensure quality

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
• Experience in fertility nursing is preferred.
• Strong clinical and people skills with empathy.
• Ability to provide patient care, support and education.

Responsibilities

• Face-to-face and phone patient interactions to support care.
• Coordinate with doctors and scientists to tailor treatment plans.
• Instruct patients on self-administration of IVF drugs.
• Provide results and ongoing support to patients.
• Maintain accurate patient records and perform admin duties.
