Job summary

All Hills Fencing, a market leader in the supply and installation of gates and fencing in the Sydney region and beyond, seeks an energetic Fencing Estimator or sales professional. With over 30 years in the Building & Construction Industry, we pride ourselves on quality service and a strong client base.

The successful candidate will liaise with residential and commercial clients, strengthen relationships, and contribute to major NSW/Sydney projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years estimation sales experience - Preferably in Construction.
• Demonstrated Fencing experience - Essential.
• Demonstrated measurement experience - Particularly with rakes and angles.
• Proven negotiation skills and ability to close sales.
• Ability to read plans and complete tender processes essential.
• Meticulous attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge in glass, balustrading and specialty works - Advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Scoping, measuring and pricing job leads from the site and office.
• Preparing and issuing quotations for domestic, rural and commercial clients.
• Completing tenders from inception, submission through to purchase order stage.
• Converting leads into completed sales.
• Working closely with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
• Researching current trends and setting pricing accordingly to maximize profitability.
• Using external marketing systems to source new clientele and tenders.
• Completing drawings for client submissions using systems such as Autocad and Sketch Up.

We are looking for an energetic, charismatic Fencing Estimator or sales person with a natural ability to liaise with a diverse range of clients, strengthen existing relationships and create new ones while working on some of NSW's and Sydney's biggest and most influential Projects.

Our ideal candidate brings a strong background in fencing, landscaping, or construction—or possesses solid business knowledge related to fence building and installation. You'll be someone who thrives on delivering high-quality service and takes pride in getting the details right.

Proven industry experience or deep understanding of fence installation

Sharp attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving

Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers
