Job summary

New Line Fencing & Maintenance Pty Ltd in Sydney is seeking a skilled carpenter to join our team. You will carry out general carpentry on residential and commercial projects, including renovations, fencing, decking, and heritage work, ensuring high-quality workmanship.

Applicants should have at least 3 years of carpentry experience, be able to read plans, hold a White Card, and have a valid driver's licence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of carpentry experience.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and workmanship.
• White Card (mandatory) and valid driver’s licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction drawings, plans and project specifications.
• Carry out general carpentry work on residential and commercial projects.
• Install structures, fixtures, and fittings according to specifications.
• Construct and install decking, fencing, pergolas, timber structures and retaining walls.
• Undertake renovation, restoration and heritage carpentry works.
• Safely operate hand and power tools and construction equipment.
• Liaise with clients, supervisors and other trades to coordinate works.
• Identify and resolve on-site construction issues.
• Complete projects efficiently, within agreed timeframes and budgets.
• Maintain high-quality workmanship and comply with workplace health and safety requirements.

New Line Fencing & Maintenance is seeking a skilled and reliable carpenter to join our team. You will carry out general carpentry work on residential and commercial projects, including construction, renovation, and restoration of residential and heritage properties.

Key responsibilities

Read and interpret construction drawings, plans and project specifications

Carry out general carpentry work on residential and commercial projects

Install structures, fixtures, and fittings according to specifications
