B & D Fencing Pty Ltd invites an experienced Fencing Estimator to join our commercial-focused team on Brisbane's northside. This on-site role focuses on producing accurate commercial estimates, breaking down scopes, reviewing plans, and conducting initial site visits.

You will work in a dedicated office-supported environment, handling roughly 10–20 tenders per month with support from a contracts officer. A fuel card is provided for site visits and there is a consistent pipeline of work.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial fencing estimating or closely related role.
• Ability to read plans/drawings and measure accurately.
• Experience with commercial tendering and breaking down scopes of work.

Responsabilités

• Review drawings, plans and tender documents to quantify fencing works.
• Break down scopes and prepare detailed tenders and submissions.
• Conduct initial site visits to confirm measurements and scope.
• Calculate material, labour and installation costs accurately.
• Prepare clear quotes and follow up with clients.
• Source and compare supplier pricing.
• Assist with handover paperwork as required.
• Support other estimators with site measures when needed.
• Handle smaller volume of residential fencing estimates when required.

B&D Fencing Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Fencing Estimator to join our commercial-focused team.

This is a dedicated on-site quoting and tendering role in Northgate, QLD. You will focus exclusively on preparing accurate commercial estimates and tenders, breaking down scopes of work, reviewing plans, and carrying out initial site visits. You can expect to work on approximately 10–20 tenders per month.

You will be supported by a contracts officer in the office who assists with completing tender paperwork and submissions. You may occasionally help with handover paperwork at the end of a project, but day-to-day project management and installer coordination are handled by our existing project manager.

A fuel card is provided for site visits.

Key responsibilities

• Review commercial drawings, plans and tender documents to measure and quantify fencing, gates and related works
• Break down scopes of work and prepare detailed commercial tenders and submissions
• Conduct initial site visits to confirm measurements, assess conditions and clarify scope
• Calculate material, labour and installation costs accurately
• Prepare clear, competitive quotes and follow up with clients
• Source and compare supplier pricing
• Assist with handover paperwork as required
• Support other estimators with site measures when needed
• Handle a smaller volume of residential fencing estimates as required

About you

• Proven experience in commercial fencing estimating, construction estimating, or a closely related role
• Strong knowledge of fencing materials, systems and installation methods
• Demonstrated experience with commercial tendering and breaking down paper/scopes of work
• Confident reading plans/drawings and working accurately with measurements
• Good communication, organisational and computer skills
• Current driver’s licence (essential for site visits)
• Current White Card (Construction Induction Card)
• Familiarity with Xero, Procore and/or Hammertech is desirable but not essential
• Reliable, organised and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team

Salary: Competitive and based on experience.
Start: Immediate start preferred.
