Job summary

Montessori Care is seeking a female NDIS Support Worker for Campbelltown and surrounding areas. The role requires working mainly at our Campbelltown site with opportunities across Inner West and Sydney CBD.

You will provide emotional support, personal care, and community access to long-term participants in a respectful, person-centred approach. Applicants must hold NSW driver licence and vehicle, and have NDIA checks including NDIS Worker Screening, WWCC, National Police Check, First Aid & CPR.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting clients with manual handling and hoists (desirable)
• Experience supporting clients with high mental health needs (advantage)
• Willingness to assist with cleaning and maintaining a safe home environment
• Confidence with care plans, incident reporting and team communication
• Eligible for NSW Driver Licence and access to insured vehicle

Primary Location: Minto, NSW, 2560

This role is based primarily at our Campbelltown location, and the ability to work from this site is essential. Additional opportunities are available across various Sydney locations, such as Inner West and Sydney CBD.

The Role

Join a well-coordinated care team supporting long-term NDIS participants who require friendly, female support workers to assist in community access and personal care. You’ll provide a mix of:

• Emotional support and companionship
• Domestic assistance and community access
• Following strict guidelines outlined in care plan
• Experience supporting clients with high mental health needs (desirable)

Note: This role involves supporting participants with manual handling and hoists needs as well as managing behaviours of concern and deescalation, personal care, and maintaining a safe living environment.

You’ll be great in this role if you are/have

• Sympathetic, empathetic and personable!
• NSW Driver Licence and your own insured vehicle
• Current Checks: NDIS Worker Screening, Working With Children Check, National Police Check, First Aid & CPR
• Reliable availability in the Inner West Sydney Region
