Job summary

Home Care Assistance Central Coast is seeking a Female Care Worker for our Casual Pool to support clients in their own homes and in the community on the Central Coast. You will assist with personal care, meal prep and daily tasks while providing companionship and safe transportation when needed.

The ideal candidate is 18+, holds a current Australian driver's licence, has a smartphone with data, and can obtain Police Check, First Aid/CPR, and NDIS Orientation as required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and able to work in clients' homes on the Central Coast.
• Current Australian driver’s licence and reliable smartphone with data.
• Police check (National Police Certificate) or willingness to obtain.
• First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module or willingness to obtain.
• Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or studying towards.

Responsibilities

• Assist with general domestic tasks, personal care and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship, emotional and social support.
• Provide transport services.
• Ensure client safety during service and support their needs.

About the Role:

Candidates must be 18+ years of age to be considered for this position.

Experience:

• Manual handling: Preferred but not necessary

Licence/Certification:

• A Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care); or working towards
• First Aid / CPR Certification (Compulsory or willing to obtain)
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module (Compulsory or willing to obtain)
