Job summary

Uniting is seeking Care Service Employees for casual and permanent part-time roles across Central Coast, Hunter, and Newcastle facilities. Opportunities exist in Hamlyn Terrace, Bateau Bay, Elermore Vale, Hamilton, Belmont North, Garden Suburb, and Mayfield.

Compensation includes up to $34.59 per hour plus super, penalties, tax benefits, and casual loading. Roles offer up to 76 hours per Fortnight and opportunities for qualified and unqualified carers.

Qualifications

• Must have transport by car or public transport.
• Previous experience in aged or community care, or a passion to begin a career in aged care if you are studying or have recently become qualified.
• If not currently qualified, we can help you obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Provide care, companionship and emotional support to residents to help maintain a sense of meaning and purpose in their day.
• Provide daily living assistance such as showering, personal hygiene, dressing, help at mealtimes and general mobility.
• Assist with medication and simple wound dressings.
• Support residents in community‑based recreational and social activities.
