Job summary

Ellerslie Farms Group is seeking a hands-on Stockfeed Milling Operator in Millmerran, Queensland. You will assist across mill operations, including receiving commodities, scheduling production, controlling stock and weighing trucks, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

On probation, successful candidates may receive an Award Bonus and access further training to increase value within the division. Previous forklift experience is essential for daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid Licence to Operate a Forklift Truck.
• Must be physically fit to perform heavy lifting and work outdoors in varying weather.
• Ability to work accurately and quickly in a busy, time‑pressured environment.
• Demonstrate a proactive, can-do attitude and reliability.
• Bio-security and safety protocol adherence is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Operate the feed mill per established work practices.
• Assist with maintenance of Feedmill equipment, building and surrounds.
• Safely operate forklift.
• Safely assist with the receival of commodities into the mill.
• Ensure safe and efficient delivery of feed to farm sites, in accordance with schedules.
• Control stock levels, monitoring and advising when levels may be low.
• Weigh trucks through the weighbridge as required.
• Test grain in accordance with established work practices.
• Drive feed body trucks on site (license not required).
• Prepare and bag product as required.
