Job summary

Mauri, part of the George Weston Foods Group, is a leading supplier of animal feed and nutrition in Australia. The Weston Animal Nutrition division seeks a Production Operator for our Enfield mill to help ensure smooth production, batch accuracy and high quality standards.

You will monitor milling processes, check grain and liquid additions, verify material specifications and maintain safe, efficient operations with a small team.

Qualifications

• Advanced Feed Milling qualification, Food Processing diploma, Cereal Milling course or equivalent (desirable).
• Minimum 2-3 years' experience in Stockfeed Milling.
• Hands on approach to troubleshooting minor machine issues.
• Knowledge of ISO/HACCP and Feedsafe requirements.
• Communicate and work effectively with other members as a team.
• Knowledge of and commitment to health and safety work practices.

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Operator to join our team based at our Enfield animal feed mill. You will be working with a small team to ensure smooth running of animal feed production and help us maintain a high standard of quality.

This role has a base hourly rate range of $38.69-$43.67 (inclusive of loading & allowances) plus superannuation.

The main responsibilities of this role include:

• Monitor production and batching process through mill control systems
• Monitor whole grain and liquid additions
• Ensure all raw materials received meet specified standards
• Ensure plant is running correctly and is in safe working order

About you

As a successful candidate, you will have the following:

• Advanced Feed Milling qualification, Food Processing diploma, Cereal Milling course or equivalent (desirable)
