Job summary

Mauri, part of the George Weston Foods Group, is seeking a Capital Projects Manager to lead major capital projects across Australia and New Zealand, from feasibility through to project completion.

Based in Enfield, Sydney, you will drive cross-functional collaboration, manage contracts and suppliers, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while delivering on strategic investment priorities.

To learn more about our business, please visit mauri.com.au and gwf.com.au.About the roleAs we enter an exciting period of growth, we are seeking a Capital Projects Manager to join our team based in Enfield, Sydney.Reporting to the Head of Capital Investments ANZ, this critical role will be responsible for project management and execution of major capital projects within Mauri across Australian and New Zealand.Delivery of these major capital investment projects, which range from greenfield to major upgrades, is critical to enable the execution of our business strategy and operational requirements. Improving project management and portfolio management is a key focus for the business, and we will be looking for individuals who are prepared to challenge ways of working, bringing their own experience and ideas.This is much more than a typical engineering or project management role. You will lead cross-functional teams as you take ownership of projects from start to finish, from feasibility assessment to project completion, collaborating and influencing at all levels of the business, with the backing of significant investment from the business.You will be responsible for developing and articulating thorough and aligned project plans, ensuring all safety and risk elements are identified and tightly controlled, establishing competitive but sustainable arrangements with suppliers, monitoring expenditure and conducting post-implementation reviews, all while ensuring stakeholder alignment and accountability throughout.About youTo be considered for the role, ideally you will have an Engineering background and hold proven project management and project leadership experience.
