Job summary

Medacs Global Group is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a 6-week NSW contract at a major Sydney hospital. Start ASAP, rotating shifts including nights and weekends, in a fast-paced, high-acuity ED.

You must have at least 1 year post-graduate ED experience and current AHPRA registration, with strong clinical judgement and teamwork to ensure quality patient care under pressure.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
• Minimum 1 year post-graduate ED experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
• Willingness to rotate shifts including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide acute care in the Emergency Department.
• Triage and assess patients, escalate as needed.
• Administer meds and coordinate with the ED team.
• Document care and communicate with multidisciplinary staff.
