Qualifications

• Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Strong clinical assessment, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-focused care.
• Understanding of ACQSHC National Standards.
• Current Working With Children Check (or ability to obtain).
• Postgraduate qualification in Emergency Nursing or Critical Care Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care in accordance with professional standards.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care outcomes.
• Support, supervise and mentor Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs).
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve the best outcomes for patients.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families throughout their care journey.
• Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement for both patients and staff.
