Job summary
Medacs Global Group is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a 6-week NSW contract at a major Sydney hospital. Start ASAP, rotating shifts including nights and weekends, in a fast-paced, high-acuity ED.
You must have at least 1 year post-graduate ED experience and current AHPRA registration, with strong clinical judgement and teamwork to ensure quality patient care under pressure.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
- Minimum 1 year post-graduate ED experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
- Willingness to rotate shifts including nights and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Provide acute care in the Emergency Department.
- Triage and assess patients, escalate as needed.
- Administer meds and coordinate with the ED team.
- Document care and communicate with multidisciplinary staff.
