Job summary

The Coles Group in Bunbury is seeking a Store Leader for the deli department to take day-to-day control of operations. Reporting to the Store Manager, you’ll ensure the deli is well presented, welcoming and efficient, delivering an engaging shopping experience for customers and a positive environment for team members.

You’ll lead, coach and develop your team to meet sales targets, control costs, manage rostering and uphold food safety, quality and compliance standards while living Coles values.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a fast-paced customer facing environment.
• Direct/indirect leadership experience to lead, coach and develop your team.
• Maintain department standards including stock, rotation, waste and quality control.
• Adhere to audit, food safety and compliance standards.
• Drive a one-team culture prioritising health, safety and wellbeing.
• Delight customers with an outstanding shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Take full accountability for the day-to-day running of the deli department.
• Lead, coach and develop your team to meet sales targets, cost control and rostering requirements.
• Ensure deli is exceptionally presented, welcoming and engaging for customers, team members and community.
• Maintain stock levels, rotate stock, manage waste and ensure quality control.
• Uphold audit, food safety and compliance standards.
