Job summary

The Coles Group is seeking a dedicated Leader to oversee the deli department, reporting to the Store Manager. You will be responsible for daily operations, presenting a welcoming store environment, and leading a team to achieve sales targets and uphold safety standards.

You will drive a one team culture, focus on customer experience, and ensure stock, quality and compliance are maintained across the deli area.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced customer facing environments.
• Direct/indirect leadership to coach and develop a team for targets, costs and rostering.
• Maintain department standards including stock, rotation, waste and quality control.
• Simplify processes and adhere to audit, food safety and compliance standards.
• Lead a one team culture prioritising health, safety and wellbeing.
• Delight customers with an outstanding shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day running of the deli department with accountability to Store Manager.
• Ensure store presentation, welcoming environment and engaging customers, team members and community.
• Drive sales targets while managing costs and rostering requirements.
