Job summary

Stage II in South Geelong is seeking a Design Assistant to support the Elm Design team across creative and administrative tasks. You will assist in end-to-end product development, maintain archives, and help coordinate samples and shoots.

Qualifications

1+ years of experience in a similar fashion design or product development role.
Formal qualification in Fashion Design is highly regarded but not essential.
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; familiarity with CADs.
Basic knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

Assist the Design team in end-to-end product development from concept to delivery.
Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Design team.
Maintain design archives, fabric and sample libraries.
Record lab dips, strike-offs, tech packs and approvals.
Create technical CADs for range pages and specifications.
Attend fit sessions to understand process for future growth.
Support storyboard, colour palettes, mood boards and trend research.
Coordinate samples and logistics for product and marketing shoots.
