Job summary

Top Of The Crop Labour Hire in Mildura, VIC, is seeking 200 workers for harvesting and pruning in the local vineyard. These roles are on-site with outdoor work requiring physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Successful candidates will start at the Level 1 rate of 32.24 AUD per hour under the Wine Industry Award. Training will be provided, with opportunities for skill development and progression within the team; workers must have Australian work rights

Qualifications

• Must have a resilient attitude toward outdoor work and adapt to varying weather.
• Willing to work flexible schedules including weekends and early starts.
• Physically fit with ability to lift and carry heavy harvest buckets.
• Able to squat/bend for extended periods.
• Must pass medical/drug test and have Australian work rights.

Job Description

We require 200 workers for harvesting and pruning in the Mildura region, VIC. The work includes harvesting and pruning. Work will commence in August 2026 and be ongoing for 9 months.

Individuals must have a resilient attitude towards outdoor work, capable of thriving in various weather conditions and are willing to accommodate flexible schedules, including weekends and early morning starts. General hours of work are between 7am and 5pm. Physical fitness is paramount, as tasks entail lifting, bending, and carrying heavy harvest buckets on uneven terrain.

You will also need to sustain positions like bending and squatting for extended periods throughout the day. While prior experience is beneficial, comprehensive training will be provided, offering the potential for skill enhancement and growth within the team. It's crucial to understand that these roles demand meticulous attention to detail and a dedication to preserving vine health and optimising grape quality, making each day in the vineyard both challenging and rewarding.

Successful candidates will be offered employment on a casual basis and paid under the Wine Industry Award at the starting rate of Level 1 $32.24 per hour. This job has opportunities for upskilling andtraining. Workers must be able to pass a medical/drug test.
