Job summary

Hunter Valley Free Range Pty Ltd in Stroud NSW is seeking a reliable Farm Hand / Egg Collector to join our on-site team. You will assist with egg collection, maintain feeding and water systems, and help with daily farm tasks.

Candidates should have a strong work ethic, a current driver's license with access to transport, and be willing to work alternate weekends and public holidays. Biosecurity rules prohibit poultry at home, and on-farm accommodation may be available.

Qualifications

• Be honest and reliable
• Have a drivers licence and own reliable transport
• Hold a provisional licence as the minimum driver's licence requirement
• Have a strong worth ethic
• Be happy to get your hands dirty
• Be available to work alternate weekends and public holidays
• Possess some farm experience would be preferred
• Have legal working rights in Australia

Our Egg Production business based in the Stroud area, requires an enthusiastic Farm Hand to join our team.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Maintaining water and feed system functionality

• Optimising animal welfare

• Collection and packing of eggs

• Reporting injured birds

• Reporting damaged or malfunctioning machinery

• General daily record documentation

• General cleaning and hygiene maintenance duties as required

To be successful in this position you must:

• Be honest and reliable
