Job summary

Anglicare Victoria is hiring a full-time Family Violence Practitioner to work at The Orange Door Belgrave. You will perform risk assessment, engagement, and provide initial responses within an integrated practice approach, delivering evidence-based interventions to adults using violence and their families.

The role focuses on screening, triage, crisis response, and coordinated referrals, with supervision from Practice Leaders and a commitment to staff wellbeing and inclusive practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required for The Orange Door Practitioner role.
• Working with Children Check and National Criminal History Check prior to commencement are mandatory.
• Experience with perpetrators of family violence and risk assessment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide screening, triage, assessment, crisis responses and service planning.
• Coordinate allocations and referrals to appropriate services.
• Collaborate with Hub team and participate in case conferences and stakeholder planning.
