Job summary

Sunraysia Community Health Services is seeking a Family Violence Practitioner to deliver the Men’s Behaviour Change Program (MBCP) in Mildura, Victoria. The role involves completing family violence assessments, facilitating group sessions, and providing individual case management in collaboration with the broader community services sector.

Applicants should hold a Social Work degree or equivalent, be able to engage with mandated clients and stakeholders, and hold or obtain a Victorian Working

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent tertiary qualification in Social Work, welfare or related field with relevant industry experience (mandatory).
• Ability to engage with mandated clients and work with internal/external stakeholders (mandatory).
• Current Victorian Working with Children Check (Employee) or ability to obtain one prior to commencement (mandatory).

Responsibilities

• Assist in the delivery of the Men’s Behaviour Change Program (MBCP).
• Complete family violence assessments and provide group facilitation and individual case management support.
• Collaborate with the wider community services sector to support participants.
