The Salvation Army Integrated Men’s Services (IMS) in Leongatha, VIC, seeks a Senior Family Violence Practitioner to provide specialist assessment, intervention and support to men who use family violence. The role requires collaboration with the broader service system to assess risk and promote safety for women and children.

Reporting to the Team Leader, this 12-month fixed-term position is based on-site. You will work within a person-centred approach to reduce risk and support behaviour change,

Qualificações

• Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology or a related discipline (meets Mandatory Minimum Qualifications).
• Minimum two years' experience in family violence services.
• Demonstrated case management experience.
• Strong understanding of complexities of working with men who use violence.
• Knowledge of risk assessment and intervention practices.

Responsabilidades

• Complete intake, assessment and risk management for men who have used family violence.
• Provide case management and ongoing coordination to support engagement and behaviour change.
• Co-facilitate Men’s Behaviour Change programs (in person and online), including after-hours groups.
• Conduct risk assessment, safety planning and intervention planning with relevant services.
