Job summary

Gateway Health in Wangaratta is seeking an Adults Using Family Violence Practitioner for The Orange Door. The role is full-time (76 hours per fortnight) and linked to the Domestic and Family Violence program.

The practitioner screens, assesses, and plans services to support victim survivors and address perpetrator accountability, with supervision and ongoing professional development provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in domestic and family violence service sector or willingness to be trained in Men’s Family Violence services.
• Passion for integrated service delivery and outcomes for women, children and families.
• Experience in intake, assessment and case management with knowledge of early intervention and prevention programs.
• Ability to work autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Undertake screening and triage, intake assessment and targeted interventions as part of The Orange Door.
• Contribute to service planning and collaboration with Gateway Health teams.
• Support safety planning for victims and accountability for perpetrators.
