Zusammenfassung

VincentCare Victoria is seeking a Specialist Family Violence Practitioner to join our Community Hub on a part-time, ongoing basis. This on-site role focuses on crisis intervention, short-term case management, and recovery-oriented support for victim-survivors, including children, experiencing family violence.

You will work within risk management frameworks (MARAM, FVISS, CISS) to assess safety, advocate for clients, coordinate with local services, and participate in after-hours crisis response.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in family violence crisis intervention and case management.
• Knowledge of risk assessment, trauma-informed care, and related frameworks.
• Ability to work in crisis-driven environments with complex caseloads.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Must have a recognised degree in social work, family violence or community services.
• Valid Victorian Driver Licence.

Aufgaben

• Provide crisis intervention and short-term case management to victim survivors.
• Deliver person-centred, strengths-based support respecting diverse identities.
• Apply MARAM, FVISS, CISS frameworks to assess and manage risk.
• Advocate and coordinate with local services to ensure safety and pathways to recovery.
• Participate in after-hours on-call roster for crisis response.
• Support clients in refuge and emergency accommodation when needed.
