Marsden Families Program is seeking a Family Support Practitioner to work with children and families involved with the child protection system, delivering practical and therapeutic support in home and community settings.

Marsden Families Program has been providing outreach and therapeutic support to children and families involved with the child protection system for more than 20 years.
Our Family Intervention Service works alongside families where there are identified child protection concerns, providing practical, parenting, educational and therapeutic support within the family home and community.
We are seeking a Family Support Practitioner to join our experienced and supportive team on a full-time basis.
The Family Support Practitioner works directly with children, parents and families to strengthen family functioning, increase protective factors and support safe and positive relationships between parents and children.
The role provides flexible, home and community-based intervention to families involved with the child protection system. Our work aims to support children to remain safely within their family wherever possible and to assist families working towards safe reunification where children have entered out-of-home care.
Working from a strengths-based and family-focused framework, you will provide practical and therapeutic support tailored to the needs of each family.
We are looking for a practitioner who can build respectful working relationships with families while maintaining clear professional boundaries and a strong focus on child safety.
