Job summary

CatholicCare Diocese Of Broken Bay in Tuggerah seeks an experienced Level 4 Caseworker to join our Families Together team on a permanent full-time basis. You will work with families to implement family plans, reduce risks, and support safe, nurturing home environments.

Reporting to the Program Manager, you will manage a caseload, participate in supervision, and have access to probation-to-work-from-home after 6 months.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Social Science (or related discipline).
• Experience working with children & families experiencing multiple challenges.
• Understanding of child safety and family preservation principles, with guidance.
• Strong written and verbal communication, including case notes.

Responsibilities

• Participate in whole-of-family assessments considering child safety and family functioning.
• Gather information from families and services to identify strengths and risks.
• Develop, implement and review Family Plans to promote safety and wellbeing.
• Provide practical and relational support to families and coordinate with services.
• Maintain timely, accurate case notes and reports.
• Adhere to supervision and reporting requirements.
