Job summary

EP Food Company in Yandina QLD is seeking a Factory Team Leader to join our Front Line Leadership team. You will lead a team of production workers, ensuring safety, quality and on-time production in a busy food manufacturing facility.

Reporting to Production Supervisors and partnering with another Factory Team Leader, you will drive KPIs, coach staff, and implement continuous improvements across our shift roster (days and afternoons/nights).

Qualifications

• A can-do attitude and willingness to lead by example.
• Track record of meeting targets and KPIs.
• Experience as Team Leader or Supervisor in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of food manufacturing processes and floor operations.
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Able to troubleshoot in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear verbal and written communication.
• Available for rotating day/afternoon/night shifts.
• Reliable car and valid driver's licence; public transport limited.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and motivate a production team to meet goals and quality.
• Drive KPIs across production, cleaning, training, quality and safety.
• Oversee daily operations on the factory floor and coordinate schedules.
• Ensure safety requirements and company policies are followed.
• Provide training and coaching to improve skills and safety.
• Monitor product quality and work with QA to address issues.
• Identify and resolve operational issues on shift.
• Maintain production records and report metrics.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities with management.
