Job summary

Job Connect Recruitment is seeking Factory Production Machine Operators with forklift tickets for an international leader in building supplies, located in Carole Park. This role focuses on blending/mixing processes, operating controlled machinery, and maintaining high safety standards.

Full-time fixed term with view to permanency. Training provided; shifts run 6am–2:30pm or 2pm–10:30pm, Monday to Friday. Applicants require forklift license and relevant batch/mixing experience.

Qualifications

• Experience with batching or mixing in a factory environment.
• Familiarity with computerised blending/mixing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate Mixers, Fillers, Baggers using Control Systems and Forklifts.
• Produce quality batches with safety focus.
• Collaborate with production staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating Mixers, Fillers, Baggers using Control Systems and Operating Forklifts
• Manufacturing quality batches with a strong focus on safety
• Collaborating with an experienced team of permanent production staff
• Participating in hazard reduction and safety pre-starts

Requirements:

• Any batch or mixing production experience in a factory – can be foods, pharma, building product, pulp or resins!
• Experience operating computerised machines to blend products (examples include foods, liquids, powders, or chemicals).
• Forklift experience and license to move pallets and product
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks, such as lifting 20kg bags into hoppers
• Desire to work a stable Day or Afternoon shift roster(no rotating shifts)
• Willingness to train on Days for 4-6 weeks until fully competent
