Job summary

Pearl Recruitment Group is seeking a Factory Leading Hand in Wangara to oversee a 10–12 person team in a busy manufacturing environment. You will supervise day-to-day glass cutting, aluminium and glazing processes, and ensure accurate material measurements.

Ideal candidates have aluminium/glazing experience, strong communication skills, and a readiness to step into a leadership role with a view to full-time after probation.

Qualifications

• Experience in aluminium and/or glazing within factory/manufacturing.
• Ability to lead a team of 10–12 on day-to-day operations.
• Current driver’s licence and reliable transport.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 10–12 Factory Hands on daily operations.
• Operate and oversee glass cutting machinery (straight line edgers, waterjets).
• Work with aluminium and glazing products, taking accurate material measurements.
• Assist with basic training and problem solving as required.

Factory Leading Hand
Wangara Location
$40/Hr + Super
Monday – Thursday, 7AM - 3:30PM, Friday 7AM – 1PM
Opportunity for someone with Aluminium & Glazing Experience!
Our client is a reputable national manufacturer of high-quality wardrobes, shower screens, mirrors, and splashbacks. They are seeking an experienced Leading Hand to join their busy and growing team in Wangara.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in aluminium and glazing who is ready to take the next step into a leadership role. Working closely with the Factory Supervisor & Manager, you will help oversee the cutting and manufacturing side of the factory while supporting and leading the team.

Job Duties:

• Lead a team of approx. 10-12 Factory Hands on day-to-day operations.
• Operate and oversee glass cutting machinery, including straight line edgers and waterjets.
• Work with aluminium and glazing products and processes, taking accurate measurements of materials
• Using various hand and power tools.
• Assist with basic training of team members of processes and procedures, as well as problem solving as required.
