Job summary

CK Recruitment are seeking reliable General Labourers to join the factory team of our client, a specialist building products manufacturer in Australia. You will load/unload materials, operate basic machinery under supervision, and help with storage, assembly and packaging tasks.

We value physical fitness, reliability, teamwork and a proactive approach to safety. Prior warehouse experience is a plus, but not essential; training will be provided as part of daily operations.

Qualifications

• Physically fit and able to perform manual labour including lifting heavy items.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic and punctuality.
• Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Basic health and safety awareness and commitment to safety standards.
• Experience in warehouse or factory is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

What you'll be doing

Loading and unloading materials, products and equipment from delivery vehicles and storage areas

Operating basic machinery and equipment under supervision to assist with production processes

Sorting, stacking and organising products and materials in designated storage areas

Maintaining a clean and safe working environment, including sweeping, cleaning and general housekeeping duties

Supporting assembly and packaging operations as required

Following health and safety protocols and procedures at all times

Assisting experienced team members with ad hoc tasks to support daily operations

Reporting any equipment faults, safety concerns or damage to management immediately

What we're looking for

Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour tasks, including lifting heavy items regularly

Reliability and a strong work ethic with a commitment to punctuality

Willingness to follow instructions and work as part of a team

Basic health and safety awareness and a commitment to maintaining workplace safety standards

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

Good communication skills and ability to take direction from supervisors

Previous warehouse or factory experience is advantageous but not essential
